The school profile is an on going activity. It should always be updated as the different eco school activities are done, achievements made, eco school functions held, environmental clubs do any activity, all these should be recorded and filed in the school profile.
The file should always be arranged by the focal point teacher in collaboration with the Head teacher, teacher in charge of environment and other teachers. This file should be kept in the head teacher’s office for easy accessibility of all the stakeholders and the beneficiaries of the programme.
The head teacher and the focal point teacher should take initiative of introducing the file to the rest of the teachers telling them about the importance of the file and then call up on all the teachers to contribute the information gathered through different activities of the programme to be put in the file.
The teacher in charge of the environment is responsible for coordinating the eco club activities and the micro project implementation. And together with the Focal point person coordinate other programmes activities in the school.
